Minsk : Appel à la solidarité internationale

 

Voilà la traduction de l'appel à solidarité paru hier sur belarus.indymedia.org Il semblerait qu'aujourd'hui certaines personnes aient été libérées, mais j’attends confirmation (pas d'info en anglais pour le moment et je ne comprends pas le russe).

 À propos des récentes arrestations en Biélorussie

Il semblerait que la répression contre les activistes biélorusses trouve son explication dans l’hystérie pré-électorale du gouvernement Lukashenko. Aleh Byabenin, le rédacteur en chef du principal site d’informations non étatique, a été trouvé mort chez lui le jour où a commencé la chasse aux activistes.

Le 3 septembre 2010, la police et le KGB (les services secrets hérités de l’URSS) ont arrêté sept personnes (Bogachek Igor, Khotina Valeria, Slusar Serge, Dedok Nicholas, Zhingerovsky Alexei, Franzkevich Alexander et Laptenok Anton) suspectées d’implication dans l’attaque au cocktail Molotov de l’ambassade de Russie à Minsk le 30 août. Les «Amis de la Liberté», un groupe anarchiste jusqu’ici inconnu, a revendiqué cette attaque en solidarité avec les défenseurs de la forêt de Khimki. Bien que rien ne soit certain, beaucoup pensent que les «Amis de la Liberté» sont en fait une invention du KGB.

Les jours suivants, trois autre personnes ont été arrêtées : Tatiana Seminischeva, Vladimir Volodin et Alexander Bugaev. Il y a en ce moment 10 détenus, tous, à l’exception d’Alexander Bugaev sont des activistes qui participent à différents mouvements sociaux et écologiques en soutenant des points de vues anarchistes.

Presque tous les jours, des perquisitions sont menées dans les appartements d’activistes, des interrogatoires ont lieu à Minsk mais aussi à Homiel, Harodnia et Salihorsk. Le temps de détention des personnes arrêtées le 3 septembre a déjà été prolongé deux fois ; aujourd’hui (11 septembre) la période de détention des personnes arrêtées le 8 septembre a été prolongée aussi. Aucune accusation officielle n’a été formulée.

Le fait que les détenus sont suspectés de plus en plus d’affaires (successivement, l’incendie de la porte d’une banque, l’attaque de la «bourse du travail» et l’incendie du distributeur de billets du printemps) prouve qu’ils n’ont rien de solide contre les activistes. Ils essayent de discréditer les détenus pour en faire de simples criminels, en prétendant avoir perquisitionné de la drogue. Ce n’est pas la première fois que les autorités utilisent cette méthode : après les élections précédentes en 2006, pendant les manifestations, des seringues et des magazines pornos avaient été «trouvés».

Selon Valentin Stefanovich, un défenseur des droits de l’Homme, les droits des détenus  ne sont ouvertement pas respectés. Incapable de supporter la pression lors de son interrogatoire, une personne c’est entaillée les mains avec un couteau. Depuis 4 jours maintenant, nous ne pouvons pas obtenir d’informations exactes à propos des détenus du 3 septembre.

Il n’y a pas de frontières pour la solidarité. Nous lançons un appel à des actions de solidarité partout dans le monde car nous avons  vraiment besoin de votre soutien ! Qu’est-ce que vous pouvez faire ? Faire passer l’info à propos de la situation et en parler autour de soi, faire des manifs, et écrire des lettres aux ambassades de Bielorussie dans votre pays. Évidemment nous avons aussi besoin d’argent (pour payer les avocats). Il est possible d’envoyer de l’argent à l’Anarchist Black Cross de Moscou en indiquant : «pour Minsk».

Mise à jour du 13 septembre à 12h00 (autre traduction - Numéro Zéro) :

5 personnes viennent d’être libérées : Igor Bogatchek, Valeria Khotina, Serguei Slusar, Anton Lapténok et Alexei Jinguerovski. 

Les 5 autres restent en prison : Nicholai Dédok, Alexandre Frantskevitch, Tatiana Séminishcheva, Vladimir Volodin et Alexandre Bougaiev.

 A call for international solidarity from the friends and relatives of the social a ctivists and anarchists recently arrested in Minsk, Belarus

The unraveling repression against social activists in Belarus indicate the exacerbation of the pre-election hysteria of the Lukashenko government. The hunt for activists started on the same day as the dead body of Aleh Byabenin, the editor of the oppositional news site, was found.

On the 3rd of September seven people were arrested: Bogachek Igor, Khotina  Valeria, Slusar Serge, Dedok Nicholas, Zhingerovsky Alexei, Franzkevich  Alexander and Laptenok Anton. The cause for their arrest was the Molotov  cocktail attack on the Russian Embassy in Minsk on the 30th of August. The previously unknown anarchist group, group Freedom Friends, took responsibility for the attack, claiming it was a solidarity action for the  defenders of the Khimki forest. There is no shared opinion on the Freedom Friends group though many people consider them as a provocation of the  KGB.

The following days three more people were arrested: Tatiana Seminischeva, Vladimir Volodin and Alexander Bugaev. At this time there are 10 detainees, except Alexandr Bugaev all of them are social activists who participate in various social and ecological movements and hold anarchist views.

Almost every day house-searches are conducted in the flats of activists, interrogations are happening in Minsk and other cities (Homiel, Harodnia,  Salihorsk). The detention terms of those arrested on the 3rd of September  was already prolonged two times, today (11.09) the detention terms of  those arrested on the 8th of Septermber were prolonged too. So far no official accusations have been lodged.

The fact that the detainees are suspected of more and more cases (the arson of the door of the bank, the attack on the Trade Union House and the  arson of the ATM that happened this spring) is evidence that the investigation has no real accusations to bring against them. So they are trying to discredit the detainees and present them as simple criminals, saying that ball cartridges and plant-based drugs were  found during the house-check. However, this is not the first time the  authorities have used this method: after the previous elections in 2006, during the protests in the tent city on the main square syringes and porno magazines were «found».

According to Valentin Stefanovich, a human rights advocate, the rights of the detainees are blatantly violated. Not being able to withstand the  pressure during interrogation one of the girls cut her palms with an  office knife. For 4th days now, there is still no exact information about the current situation of those detained on the 3rd of Septermber.

As is known, there are no borders for solidarity. We call out for actions  everywhere because we really need your support! What can you do? Spread the information about the situation and bring up the discussion in various circles, organize demos and write letters to the Belarusian Embassies in your country. And, of course, we would be grateful for financial support (as quite a lot of  money is needed for lawyers). You can donate money through Moscow ABC with a note "for Minsk".
